E E P M
(What it is… How it
works…)
Rev. Art Hallett
We read in Hebrews 13:3
"Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and
those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body."
God has called His church to minister
to the incarcerated. Through the EE
Prison Ministry, church leaders and laymen can be trained to equip the
incarcerated Believer for ministry in their environment.
2 Timothy 2:2 says, "The things which you have heard
from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men
who will be able to teach others also." EE Prison Ministry exists to provide this
opportunity to the local church and other prison ministries.
A
testimony:
Ever since I became a Christian I wanted to
show Jesus my thanks for Him dying on the cross for my sin. I would
also find myself wanting to share with other people just how great my God
is and what He has done for me. I did not know just how to go about
doing that. So I did the only thing I knew how to do - I prayed to
God. I prayed that He would help me to glorify His holy name.
Two weeks later my prayer was answered when I
found out about the EE program. Ever since then my walk with God has
not only become stronger, but a lot happier knowing that I am doing the
best thing I can do to glorify Him.
I now find myself witnessing as much as
possible, and let me tell you, it is one of the most amazing feelings you
can ever experience. When your new brother or sister in Christ expresses
so much joy and relief about his or her new found life in Christ - It is
one of the best things to be a part of that! Thank you - Ramon
